On Oct. 14, 2006 I (on the far left) have been invited to drive Marshall Madruga's class 8 truck in the M.O.R.E. Powder Puff race for Breast Cancer, sponsored by Damzl. Petra (far right-Marshall's gal), and Gretchen (center) will be co-driving with me. The race will consist of a 10 mile track with each class racing for an hour each.
So this weekend we all met with Marshall out at Plaster City so that we could get an orientation of the truck and take a few hot laps. We're not really sure who our competition is, but we definitely expect to contribute to Marshall's truck's hot looks and to have a great time!

We practiced changing a tire, for the "just in case" scenario.

But, hey, ain't nothing gonna happen to us and we are gonna kick some ass out there (and don't worry, Marshall, we won't break anything)! We just expect the men on the sidelines to offer up some massages and manicures when we are done!

This is Marshall, the brave man who is trusting us women with his truck for the M.O.R.E. race!

Meanwhile, Tim went to Arizona to pick up the newest addition to the McCreary Racing Team. We are not sure what class it is yet, and it needs a little bit of work, but this thing really wants to go! We hope to race it in the 2007 race season in addition to the bike and quad races we have in the works.

Tim immediately got to work on the buggy. He took the panels off and did a major tuneup. He sent the panels in for repainting, and played around with the suspension. What is going on in this picture, you say? Yes, the back end was fork lifted up, just so Tim and his father could watch what would happen to the suspension when they dropped it!!
Here's a video of the exciting event!

Can you tell Dennis (Tim's father) liked what they saw????
